Our two most popular caves: the UNESCO World Heritage Phong Nha Cave (the “Disappearing River”), plus a short bus tour with photo stops inside protected Ke Bang National Park, and an exploration of the highly acclaimed “Paradise Cave”.
The bus with English speaking tour guide picks you up at our Hotel at 8:15am; back about 5:30pm.
You pass through acres of rice fields and rubber plantations en route to Phong Nha village where you board a boat (converted local fishing boat) for the scenic cruise upriver, curving between karsts, to the mouth of the cave, then explore it from the boat. You disembark at a couple of giant rooms (with sandy beaches!) inside the beautifully illuminated cave.
After boating back to the village, you enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before boarding the bus for a short drive through the protected Ke Bang National Park with a couple of photo stops.
Golf carts at Paradise Cave drive you through the park to near the mouth of this recently discovered cave. You climb a staircase to the mid-mountain entrance and behold the massive interior of this magnificent cave with its glistening stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Your bus and guide return you to Nam Long Hotels about 5:30pm.
